Who are we?

Norrköping Airport AB has been owned by Norrköping Municipality since 2006 and is Sweden's largest regional charter airport with operators such as Apollo, TUI, and Ving.

During the summer season, charter trips are offered to Cyprus, Rhodes, Crete, Parga, Lefkas, Karpathos, and Sivota. In winter, charters to the Canary Islands are available. Norrköping Airport is also serviced by air ambulance, police flights, military flights, air taxis, and private flights.

Norrköping Airport aims to profile itself as a center for the development of future aviation and flight systems. There are already airspace sectors for the development and testing of drones.

In collaboration with Linköping University, a test bed will also be established that will become a hub for development, education, and innovation in drone technology. The purpose is to enable practical training, certification, and application of theoretical models for students and researchers in transport and logistics.

Your tasks

As a traffic assistant, you will be part of a team working in aviation operations and contributing to ensuring that travelers have a safe, smooth, and positive experience at the airport. Your role includes check-in of passengers, handling of duty-free goods, and assisting with cleaning the aircraft between departures.

Working hours are varied and include day, evening, night shifts, and weekends as flights dictate the working hours. Therefore, it is important for us to have staff who can work with high flexibility based on the needs of the operation. The work involves irregular working hours, and shifts are at least 3 hours long.

We expect you to be available to work throughout the summer period, as the demand is high. There is also the possibility of extension and continued work during the fall and winter.

You will be part of a workplace with a strong sense of community, high trust among colleagues, and where safety always comes first.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and wants to work with a focus on service.

As irregular working hours are required, we prefer that you have experience from previous roles where you are accustomed to working shifts or similar. We also view positively if you have experience in service and customer interaction.

You are meticulous, and safety is your highest priority. As a person, you are flexible and can easily adapt to changes that may arise in the work. You are clear and have the ability to adjust your communication according to whom you meet.

Additionally, you are someone who contributes energy to the workgroup you are part of. Your focus is on service, and you can easily motivate others to the same positive mindset.

We expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position is classified in a security class, so the employment will be preceded by a security check under the Security Protection Act.
